Sword swallowing, flame eating, face nailing, bug eating, bed-of-nails laying, creepy organ music playing, scream inducing and always entertaining; the Olde City Sideshow is an act for the ages. Not exactly all ages, but the ages anyway. Come, watch, be disturbed and drink every 2nd Friday of the month.

The science café movement began in Leeds, England in 1998 when a local pub decided to foment a new kind of barroom brawl - scientific debate. The idea took off as a unique way to advance public understanding of science. Now, there are locations from Maine to California where, for the price of a beer or a glass of wine or a cup of coffee, anyone can discuss scientific ideas with leading experts in their fields and learn about developments that are changing our lives.

We bring in our local comic book guy as our illustrious Quizzo host and draw some of the most trivia-savvy competitors to pit your wits against.
